Not sure what to say?

Dr. Tuma was my pediatrician and inspired me to become a physician. He is dearly missed.

My husband and I sat with Vic and Peggyann at our last NJ reunion for Holy Trinity High School class of 1961. What a humble and lovely man!.. Peggyann was charming. WE had no idea of his accomplishments until we read his obituary. A giving life. RIP Vic

He was my doctor ever since I was born. I just turned 18 years old. I will appreciate all that he's done for me and my family for the rest of my life.

my daughter was one of Dr. Tuma´s patients since birth. I am very sad to hear that he has passed. Please send prayers to his family.

My sincere condolences to Victor´s family. Victor and I were premeds at PC. Both of us went on to medical school. We both elected to take a course in Research under the supervision of Dr Donald Leary. We studied rooting responses.

As was Kevin Beebe, first obit responder above, I was an Aquinas 4 dorm mate of Vic at Providence College. We also shared our birthday. All PC '65 men should recall Vic's artistic talent. He drew the Friar dribbling the basketball on the banner(bedsheet) that hung from our windows for NIT '62. Way back then, PC frosh had to memorize the alma mater(music is Sibelius' Finlandia) Vic memorized it and, in practising medicine half a century, lived it: ".......all fearless now, we brave life's...

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I just found out yesterday about Dr.Tuma passing. We last saw him in August at my son's well visit and yesterday we went for the 1st time for a sick visit and he was not there. I was surprised not to see him. Dr.Tuma was not only my children's Dr for the last 20+years but he started at Metuchen pediatrics back when I was a kid. He was so beloved by my siblings and I , that I chose to bring my kids to him as well. He will be missed.A great man who spoke highly of his kids and grandchildren and...

My heart goes out to Dr Tuma's family. Although I never met him in person, I enjoyed having him as a client. He was witty and always so upbeat and friendly. I will miss our phone conversations. I'm so sorry may he rest in Peace.
