Not sure what to say?

Lord Vick will be missed by many. We all love him and his music. RIP Vic.

Dear Vic, I was so very sad to see your obituary in the news newspaper. We never knew each other except possibly in passing, but that was many, many years ago, back during the Murphy´s Tavern days. God bless you and your family. May you rest in peace.

My girlfriends, Cindy and Zelda, went to the Brunswick Stewbaley several years back . We sat on the front row. Vic saw me and began playing and singing Amazing Grace for me with big grin of his. Sherry ( my friend and DFCS supervisor) and Vic came to my House Warming when I moved back to Townsend. Vic was always warm and welcoming to everyone one. Sherry, my heart goes out to you and the boys. Tom and I are praying for you all.

When we met years ago it was over homebrewing...my friend Bobby Wilkes had a meeting and I tagged along and after 3hrs he broke out his guitar and Mason was so small...he had plenty of stories and could make a bad day turn better...pray for peace for the family

Vic....you will be missed. Since meeting as teens at Benedictine Military School in Savannah over 60 years ago it was always fun running into you. And we did it in lots of great places like Darien, St Simons, Miami, Nashville Tampa, on of course on the Sapelo. All those run-ins usually culminated with a few beers and some of your great and memorable story telling. Vic you were always the most laid back and unassuming individual I ever knew and for sure you did it your way. Love you My Brother...

Jenkins Store tore into my heart back in 1979. Never met the man who conjured up that song, but I did play ball against a couple of his brothers back during our Little League Days. Saw Vic play his guitar and sing at the 1979 Darien Shrimp Boat Festival, bought his album. For those who need to place me, though faraway now, my roots and my youth are pure McIntosh County blood and butter. Jenkins Store, what a memory! Peace out, country boy. I was a Darien kid.

Vic never met a stranger, one of the best people I´ve ever known, great musician and sweet friend hugs and prayers for all the family
