CRYSTAL LAKE – Victoria "Vickie" Bollensen, 93, of Crystal Lake, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in McHenry.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1918, to Charles and Louise Behan in Crystal Lake.
Vickie is survived by her daughters, Patricia (William) Stowell and Debbie (Patrick) Morrison; grandchildren, Rob, Maggie and Will Stowell and Kate and Lydia Morrison; nieces, Valerie B. (David) Gowdy, Gail (James) Phillips and Katherine Behan; nephews, James (Patricia) Bollensen, R. Barry (Judi) Bollensen and Lad Behan; cousins, Carlotta Goldstein, Peter (Sandra) Briggs, Jane (David) Galli, Claudia (Jeff) Eaton and Candy (Donald) Gibson; many grand-nieces, -nephews and cousins; and beloved friends, Kathy (Jim) Kraemer and their children, Carmen, Brad, Andy and Chris, and Bonnie Salvesen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bollensen, who passed away in 1995; brothers, Paul (Laurie) Behan and Charles "Buddy" Behan; and her parents.
The visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. with a Mass celebration at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
Burial will be at noon Saturday, Nov. 3, in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
