I was in her advanced Lit class. she was an amazing teacher and really took the time to help me when I needed it. I will miss her. she was so kind to me when I lost my mother to Cancer. I really needed it, then and I shall always remember her for it. God bless her family, My deepest sympathies to her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Burt was the greatest teacher I ever had. She always made you laugh and helped you out when needed. I truly wanted to take her to college with me. She will be deeply missed but she will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will never forget Beowulf thanks to her dedication to it nor will I forget the passion of literature she ignited in each and every person that had her class at Satsuma High.
