Vicki was my middle child's godmother. Vicki enjoyed the fact that her goddaughter became a licensed graduate social worker and counselor. Our daughter found her calling was to help people, just as Vicki had. She also has a baby girl who reminds me so much of Vicki, with her big, sweet, warm brown eyes.

Vicki was one of my best friends in college at The University of MO in KC. She was in our wedding. We had lost contact over the years. I was very saddened when Linda (Bartlett) Lentell phoned me last week to let us know that Vicki had passed. I have had a long conversation with Linda and we reminisced. Vicki and I met when she joined my film group just over two years ago, but she quickly became a close friend. Like myself, she was an ardent film lover and everyone enjoyed her wit and wisdom at our after-film dinners.
