Dear Whitney, I am so sorry to learn of your mom´s passing. We were friends of your Grandma, Dodie. Her admiration and love for Viki, and all of you, was a frequent subject of conversation. My heart goes out to you. With warm regards, Viki Sweetman

Dear Whitney: My heartfelt & deepest condolences on the loss of your singular Mom. By luck her exceptionally close friend Liz became a dear friend of mine too & thus I got to meet her & your Dad Kevin decades ago - sharing many a very warm, lively & hilarious dinner eve with them & marvelling at Viki's panache & wit- usually in Liz & Al's home. And along the way meeting you & your brother & his namesake your son Griffin and then your husband James. I send much love to the three of you....

Viki was a wonderful creative genius with an enormous heart. We knew Viki and Kevin for many years, helping with her creations and unique ideas. My father helped her create many "one of a kind " items for her store. Her smile will be missed. Condolences to the large circle of family and friends.

I will miss Viki's sense of humour . I met her when she and Lupe were students in Paris in 1976 where I was studying too. I met my ex-wife Dawn through Kevin's friend Hugh. Whitney and James I share your loss. Sadly Jonathan ((Jay)

I am so sad to hear of Vicky´s passing. She was an amazing boss to a young me during my time working weekends at Absolutely. I learned alot from Vicky and she made us girls laugh alot too. I remember finding love-letter-drawings that she kept from her young children in the private office space, and loving this glimpse into her warm soft mom-side. Makes me so happy to see her with her grandchild. What a beautiful life, i will remember Vicky forever.

I am so very sorry to learn of Vicki´s passing. I knew her when she was a student at York University. We had lots of fun playing tennis back in the 70´s. She was always full of fun and ready for any kind of adventure. The two of us had a memorable adventure traveling to Panama in search of Molas which we planned to sell back in Toronto. From Panama City we flew by tiny plane to the San Blas Islands to barter with the Cuna Indians. Our local guide transported us from island to island is his...

Despite never really sitting down or socializing outside the task, I still feel touched by the smalll interactions and encounters with your mother. Dear Whitney: i have met you when i dropped into the store. Dodie and my mother (Holly Macrae) were best friends in Oakville. And i would babysit Viki and Jane. I loved her store and bought a Christmas decoration of Queen Elizabeth with her purse. I think of Viki each time i put it on the tree. Viki was remarkable as her obituary has strongly indicated. Our thoughts are with you.
