Not sure what to say?

I met Victoria through the CPCU Society. I became the first black president of the organization in 2009, and my theme was "Embracing Change". My primary focus was providing more opportunities for women and minorities within the insurance industry. Victoria not only embraced it, but was a major influence in supporting and bringing change to the entire industry. She was a champion of diversity, which allowed others to fulfill their dreams of participating in the industry. I was honored to...

To the Martin family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of such a great person! I attended high school with Tori and my parents have been life long friends with her mother. Mrs. Martin, please know that we will always remember her and the great spirit and energy she brought to all she met. My heart goes out to you and yours....Sincerely, Christine Jamison Wade (Cleve., OH)-Celeste's younger sister and Brandywine High Class of 1990

Thinking of you today.

I worked with Victoria for many years. She was one of the most dynamic and diverse people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

On behalf of the Martin Family, I thank each of you for your thoughtful comments and remembrances of our Tori. There's a big hole in our heart right now, but we are at peace knowing that she reached out to so many people with her indomitable spirit, walked the talk of diversity and inclusion and matured into one wonderful and decent human being. She was an accomplished corporate executive who happened to be a woman and a person of color--but one who never forgot her roots or those she called...

I have just learned of Tori's passing, and I am deeply saddened. I remember Tori as a charming, creative and intelligent young woman; all qualities that this world needed more of. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this most difficult time. Everone who knew her was blessed to have her for this short time.

It was just brought to my attention that this amazing Women of God has passed away. Tory was like family to me.Both My mother and her Mother are like sisters. She was like an older sister to me. Her sister alexis is in my age group. To the Martin and Mitchell family I give you my deepest condolenses. May GOD continue to be with you in your time of need. Tory will be deeply missed. God bless all of you. Sincerely, Atty. Dr. Edward Robinson and Ebony Bonner & Family.

I am still in shock to hear of Victoria's passing. I'm looking at the picture and still shaking my head. We connected numerous times as I lead diversity for Travelers and shared many conversations about diversity in the property casualty insurance industry. I pray God's peace and comfort for her family and friends at this time.
