Not sure what to say?

hello David and Debbie, I wrote an earlier entry and tried to post the only picture I have of your mother Vicki and I taken at the St Stephens Church Coffeehouse in Oct 1970. I am so sorry to hear about you mom. I cherish many moments together with her back in the Coffeehouse days playing guitar on stage with her, and also spent many days at your house as well. I also had the honor of playing guitar at the mornigng church service with your dad, Clax as our preacher. Since the pic did not...

and yes, hello Tori! The picture failed to upload, maybe 'cause I am on a Mac so if anyone wants to see it email me at [email protected] and I'll send you a JPEG.

Hello David and Debbie, I was so sad to hear the news of your mom from Harriet Reynolds. I'll always remember the wonderful times we had as Vicki headed up the St Stephens Coffeehouse and I was ever so grateful to grace the stage with Vicki many times. And the many visits to the house to talk with Vicki and Clax, and soul search and find myself at my young age of 20. I am placing the only picture I have of us together. I was also so lucky to play guitar for the morning church services at St...

Debbie, Mary, Tori, and David,

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Mom. As you all know, growing up on Dunstan St. in Houston, going to school and church together, made it feel like we were all one family. I still remember when your Dad, Clax, ran over my bicycle, and although it was my fault for "parking it" on the curb, he replaced it forthwith. I am so sorry I could not be with you now with your Mom and in 1991 with your Dad......as you know, your Dad came to...

Dear Family,

I was out of state when your mother passed away and was unable to attend her service. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and fond remembrances for all of you and for the years we shared together. Your mother gave me confidence as a performer and gave me the listening ear of a surrogate mother. She was a tremendous role model and mentor for me and countless others. She will be missed.

Love,
Harriet

Please know that my heart is with all of you, and your families in this moment .. I have no way to contact you, so hope you will find me here, sending Love and Prayers of Peace ... Consolation ... but above all ... Love ...

When I remember Vicki I remember her beautiful, caring eyes and her hands. Her wonderful hands complete with smudges of clay & traces of paint. I was a young teenager whn I met Vicki and first became aware of of her talent to see imperfections in clay (and people) and watch as an uneven blob of clay changed into a nose, how a pinch suddenly became a mouth, how a gentle wave of her hand with a fork created hair. The uneven patterns in melted plastic became rainbows, doves or lights with a...
