Victoria C. Moreno of Colorado Springs passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at Angelus Chapel, 1104 S Circle Dr., Colorado Springs, CO.
Visitation will also be at Angelus Chapel, Thursday, February 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Victoria was born on March 10, 1918 in the Republic of Panama to Petra C. Moreno. She moved to the United States in 1965 where she lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Omaha, Nebraska. She returned to the Springs in 1983 where she lived until her passing.
She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and playing dominoes or cards with her family and friends. She had a fiery spirit and a way of bringing joy into any room she entered. Her laughter and love for those close to her was evident in her eyes and smile. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her daughters Maritza Stephens and Yolanda Peck; 5 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 13 great-grandchildren.
