Not sure what to say?

My grandmother has always been an inspiration to me and continues to be even now. She loved beyond words with her chocolate pies, pancakes, chicken and dumplings and sour dough biscuits. She loved in her smile and her sweet little wave there at the end. She loved in her service to others time and time again. I am honored beyond words to be called her granddaughter and to be a part of her godly legacy.

Vida blessed us so much when we lived in Odessa-just made you feel good to be around her. We were blessed again, to get to visit with her in San Angelo. Another wonderful "deposit" in heaven!

Vida was a wonderful, loving and forever happy woman. Her legacy continues, through a truly special family.

Vida and Hasting were always special to me and my family. I will miss Vida and her letters very much. She was a special lady.

I was so saddened to learn of Mrs. Cooper's passing. I will always remember her as a sweet and loving person. She will be truly missed.

It was a blessing and privelage to know her as "Grandmother". We watched her serve many people throughout her life. She was compassionate, faithful and strong. I will miss her smile.

In 1976 when I was 17 years old and interested in the medical field Vida helped me to get my first job in a Doctors office. I loved it. I went on to college years later and then went to work in the Operating room as a Surgical Tech for 14 years. As I write this, I once again am working for a group of doctors. Vida was instrumental in helping me to become a part of a profession
that I love. To her family, you are in my prayers.
