Gearty-Delmore - Robbinsdale Chapel - Robbinsdale Obituary

Vidal Rosado Guzmán III was born to Vidal and Lidibette on May 13, 1997, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, where he was raised and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Robbinsdale. He graduated from Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, in 2015. He was currently attending Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he was pursuing a degree in chemistry. Vidal passed away on November 12, 2019, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Vidal participated in the Boy Scouts of America since first grade. He belonged to Troop 534 and attained the rank of Life Scout. He had a mind for technology—having participated in the Robotic RoboCups competition in China with the Engineering team from Benilde-St. Margaret’s and also built his own computer. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing video games. He was an avid reader of literature, history, and science fiction. Friends and family enjoyed his quick-witted humor. His passions included pizza, burgers and Sam’s (Buss) homemade beef jerky and building a good bonfire.

Vidal was a gentle soul, a loving son, a devoted brother and loyal friend who will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by father, Vidal M. Guzmán II, he is survived by mother Lidibette, sisters Xiomara and Marieli (Jeff Hetland). A Memorial Service will be held at House of Hope Lutheran Church, 4800 Boone Ave N, New Hope, MN 55428. Sunday, November 17, 2019 (Visitation – 2:00 pm; Service 3:00 pm).

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly requests donations be made to support mental health. The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (sptsusa.org) is the organization selected by the family.

Not sure what to say?

You and your daughters are in our thoughts and prayers. Big hug, Tony.

I was deeply heartbroken to hear about Vidal. Such an outstanding young man. I can truly say he was one of my favorite patients; warm, curious, funny and respectful. I think of your entire family often, and send a warm embrace to all of you. May you all find peace.

El Señor Jesus les sostenga en sus brazos hasta sentir su Paz y fortaleza en estos momentos de gran dolor.

My heart breaks for all of you. I wish you all the love in the world in this extremely difficult moment. xxooo.

Thinking of you and your loss.

I knew yur father and mother.. I think I also met you when you were just a kid back in 2008. Youll be missed, send my regards to Vidal and make heaven as happy as you both did here on Earth

My very deepest sympathies to Vidals family. Vidal ll was a friend of mine from Lifetime Fitness Target Center, where he had attended my classes for many years. He was an absolute gem, and he was so proud of Vidal lll. I am so sorry. Please know that your family is on my mind. Michelle LaFrance

With deep sadness I am sending my love and much warmth.

My deepest condolences for the Guzman family may the Lord God guide your family...
