Not sure what to say?

Vince was one of my most memorable students in first year writing at Oakland University. He was the lone male in a class of young women and the only one over 30. Unlike the freshman women Vince was unafraid to speak up in class, was quite willing to engage in discussions and laughed at my occasional Jokes. In other words, every professor's dream.

For years we. would occasionally run into each other on the streets of Clarkston; he would tell anyone nearby that I was his favorite...

I have been Vince's dental hygienist for over 45 years. Back in the day, (1977) he would schedule his appointment to be the last of the day, with a six-pack of beer in hand, to share with Dr Nanney and me. I don't even drink beer, but I didn't want to miss out on any of Vince's stories! Always pleasant, always cheerful, always witty, always caring, always truthful.....that's how I remember Vince. I loved him, and made sure I told him so whenever he was in. He truly was a wonderful man, and...

Godspeed Vince.

To Vince's extended family and friends including all those at Calvary, I extend my prayers of support as you all celebrate a life well lived. Vince always touched me with his infectious laugh and good spirit. I will always recall fondly our time together at Calvary and on the golf course / famous weekend getaways. His wonderful spirit lives on in all of us in his eternal life. What a blessing. Hugs of well wishes to all. Doug

I'll remember Vince for his great stories. Never a dull moment around him. No matter the subject, he could always come up with an interesting story to tell. He will surely be remembered for the loving husband he was to Dee and the love he gave to all the children and grandchildren in his big family. My love and sympathy to Dee and all the family.
