Not sure what to say?

I used to work at the Firestone office in Akron. I remember Vince and his son Joe from the Toastmasters Club. They were both wonderful people. I am so sorry to learn of the death of Vince.

To the Altier family; I was sad to see the news about your dad. I'll never forget my old baseball coach from WABL. He coached my best two years. After that, it was all downhill. I was glad to have run into him at Cedar Point a few years ago. What a great guy. Take care and best to all of you.

Aunt Mary Wilma and the Altier cousins: It was always a comfort to know I wasn't really all by myself in Akron during my years in college there...Uncle Vince was always present on campus and it was certainly kind of cool to have your uncle on the faculty! So glad we were able to see him last spring at my parents anniversary party - he was so good to come. My heart is with you all and you are in my prayers at this loss. Love, Beth Altier (Groner)

Steve and Diane,

I was so sorry to hear of Vince's
death-I met him at Einstein's and considered him a great
friend-my prayers are with your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Altier family during this difficult time. May you find peace in knowing he is in good hands and good company.

Steve, Diane, Patrick, Stephanie and the entire Altier family:

You are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you very much.

Love,
Counsin Gail and Lindsay

Mary Wilma and Vince Altier have been my friends for 45 years. I'll cherish both of them forever.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Vince and I traveled together towards the end of his Firestone career. Every trip I would learn something new about the chemical processes. He was a fantastic associate and friend and will be missed.
