Thank you so much for fighting for our country! Erica is one of my dearest, closest friends! She talks about her Daddy all the time! I feel like even now I am getting to know who Mr. Ashlock was to her and his entire family! He may not have realized it but he was very much so looked up to as a father, Dad, friend and hero! I know Erica brags about everything he did for his family! And she misses him more and more everyday! I think about the survivors of Mr. Ashlock everyday and probably will...

I met you only once when you came to the office and I thanked you for your efforts on behalf of our country. Your beautiful family misses you but have so much pride in you.

To my husband, you upheld everything the military stands for and more, Im so proud of you! I love you for ever!!

My Son, My Hero. You've completed your life's journey, as you said you would. Serving your Country. You've always been so patriotic. I'm so proud of you. You left your children and family an honorable legacy. Although heartbroken, I know you're at peace.
I celebrate you and thank you for the priviledge of being your mother. Love Mom

Ah Wayne, so sad to talk with your Mom this morning, and to learn of your passing. I will always remember fondly the skinny, kind hearted boy with the long blonde hair I babysat and loved. Your family became my family, and the memories are strong. Your Mom is so proud of the man you became...you brightened her world. The happy memories will eventually be foremost in the hearts of all who loved you.
