Vincent James Christofano, Jr., 74, of Jeannette, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at his residence. He was born July 18, 1948, in Greensburg, a son of the late Vincent James Sr., and Dorothy G. Miro Christofano. Prior to his retirement Vince was a self-employed truck driver. He was a veteran having served with the US Army Reserve during the Vietnam War. Vince was a former member of the Ascension Church, and the M & S Club, both of Jeannette. Vince enjoyed motorcycles and riding, but most of all being on the road trucking.
He is survived by his wife Coni Brown Christofano; children, Michael Christofano and wife Amy of Port Deposit MD., Teno Christofano and wife Allison of Greensburg, Sam Yackovich and wife Olivia of Ruffsdale, Heather Weaver and husband Nick of Jeannette, and Dawn Mitchell and husband Russ of West Newton; grandchildren, Teno, Dominick, Melina, and Vinny Christofano, Carter and Lane Yackovich, Charli and Emmi Mitchell, and Leo and Marco Weaver; a brother Robert Christofano and wife Jane of Jeannette; a brother-in-law Shawn Myers and wife Erica of Katy TX.; and several nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
As per Vince’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Vince on Sunday, July 23, 2023, beginning at noon in Altman Park, 1000 Altman Rd., Jeannette PA. 15644. The John V. Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Jeannette is entrusted with arrangements.
