I met Buddy Cianci at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Providence at the November 1992 election. He was a very nice person.

I will keep Buddy Cianci and his family in my prayers.

My husband and I were married on October 9,1977. Our reception was at the Venus de Milo. As we were waiting to have our pictures taken, Buddy walked by. Without any hesitation I called out to him "What, no kiss for the bride?" He immediately turned around, walked over to us, kissed
me on the cheek, congratulated us and then took a picture with us. That really ment something special to us and we always mention it when we talk about our wedding.
He did great things for Providence and...

RIP! Forever Mayor, you will be greatly missed. A forever thank you for your years of dedication and service to the city of Providence.

I met Buddy 45 years ago when he was my professor at Bryant College for Political Science. He was a one semester fill in but boy did he fill us with Government from start to finish. I worked for the City of Providence after graduation so he became my boss and my Mayor. He always recognized me with a smile and an acknowledgement. How could anyone not like 'Buddy'!!!
