Not sure what to say?

It's hard to believe that it has been 7 years already that Vinny has left us. Bill and I have so many fond memories of great times spent with Mary Ellen and Vinny. I can still see Vin wearing that black wig at one of the many luaus we attended at the IA Club and who can forget our double date they boys took us to at that restaurant along the river in Shelton? We saw our first belly dancer and suffice it to say she did not have the body of JLo. I could go on and on. Vin will always be an...

It's so hard to believe that 3 years have passed. He is forever in our thoughts and was so much a part of our lives. We miss him so much as I know Mary Ellen and the family do as well. He was one of a kind.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

To the DiLauro family,
I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Vinnie. I've had the pleasure of knowing Vinnie since 1998. He was instrumental in helping to get me involved with the Auto Body Association of Connecticut as well as the Ct Vica Skills Program (SkillsUSA). Vin was one of the most professional businessmen I've ever met. We forged a friendship over the years that I will always cherish. He will be greatly missed. You are all in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Mary Ellen and family .
Vinnie was a kind and gentle soul who always had a smile on his face, and goodness in his heart.
He was certainly one of a kind.
A terrible loss for all of us, VInnie will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him and by the West Haven community.
May God bless all of you and keep you in the palm of his hand.

I read these messages from people who had the privilege to know Mr. Vince for years and see what I suspected; he was unique. I am just a client of Col Auto Body n the little bit I spent before him was enough to realize his heart was gold. He treated me like a valuable human not a client n that speaks volumes. I can only imagine the humongous loss of such rare gem. I pray strength to all his loving fam n friends for such painful loss.

A pleasure to do business with. A fantastic neighbor in the Hill. So sorry for the loss.

Dear Maryellen,Jennifer,Bridget,Rachael, and Family,To know Vinnie one saw love, compassion, devotion, and family foremost. He adorned Maryellen as a friend, and special love. His next love were his girls, and grandkids. Vinnie showed care, friendShip to all. Open house for holidays, and knew they cared. Special memories of fireworks, inlaws, and friends always. His drive was simple work hard, give to others, and love baseball and community. Our hearts share your deep loss,G d needed a co pilot to help...

I'm honored to say I was able to play for Columbus Auto Body beginning with the first year Mr. DiLauro sponsored the team in the WHTL in 1996. Even though I was 28 years old at the time, there was still a desire to make Vin proud just like a little league does for his dad, by playing hard, having fun, and trying to help the team win. I think this was a direct result of Vin's enthusiasm, caring, and overall enjoyment he had for life and the game of baseball. I think the team shared this...
