Not sure what to say?

Vince was my coach in the early 60s . Great man and coach . The players really liked to play for Coach !

Coach Dooley was a wonderful coach. He instilled confidence and included everyone on a team as a family member. He dedicated his life to children and was a near perfect role model as a guileless, loving, tough , funny and dedicated teacher. i think about him regularly. He was my coach in football and baseball. Love you forever Coach.

A great man. My teacher, coach, mentor and friend in high school, 1967-1971. Impeccable credentials and accomplishments in the field of education. "God, family, country and baseball" says it all about Vince Dooley.

Thank you sir for everything you did for me during those great four years of high school.

Jim Werleg
RRHS Class of '71

Just came across this obituary. Mr. Dooley was my homeroom teacher all 4 years of high school. Such a nice man. Condolences to the family.

Dearest Dooley Family,
I will always cherish the many memories from those wonderful Dooley-Babcock gatherings. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless.

Coach Dooley, like Coach Kelly, helped me to grow up. Nothing better than two Marines to keep a young, immature kid pointed in the right direction. You made an impression on all of your students. My deepest sympathy to the Dooley family

I feel fortunate to have been a student of Mr Dooley. He offered life lessons during health class as well as living by example. Our family attended St Chris and we would see Mr Dooley in the same pew every Sunday morning. Luckily, I was able to reconnect with him and his wife at the RR Rec pool. My sincere condolences to his entire family. May all your memories bring you comfort at this time.

I was a student teacher in the spring of 1970 for Don Kelley. Vince and Don shared an office at Rocky River. I couldn't have been better trained as a teacher with two Marines having my back. Thank you, Mr. Dooley, for all your efforts in guiding young teachers, helping to raise young people, and for your service to our country.
