Not sure what to say?

God bless your soul, sir ! You were truly an amazing inspiration

Here in India, I shall miss reading internet articles and watching video clips about Vincent Dransfield driving his car, drinking his daily cup of milk, visiting his friends at the "3 to 5 club" and cracking jokes at the fire station in New Jersey, U.S.A. The way he, his wife, their family, and their community led their lives are an inspiration to all of us. May God bless him and may he rest in peace.

Our condolences to the family. We will miss seeing him at the Little Falls Post Office

I am really saddened about the loss of Vincent. He lived a long and productive life and is going to be profoundly missed by everybody who knew him over the years.

Sincere condolences to all family and friends. I would've liked to have known him. From what I've read, he reminds me of my own grandparents that I miss terribly. Cherish all the memories you have, for in those memories, he lives on in your hearts.

My deepest condolences to the family and colleagues of Vincent Dransfeld from Russia. Rest In Peace, Mr. Dransfield.

As a life member of Singac Fire Company 3, I want everyone to know that Vince was truly one of a kind. His knowledge of firefighting and his ability to teach and mentor the younger members was beyond compare. His dedication was exemplary and his work ethic was outstanding. Men like Vince with all his attributes do not exist in today´s world. He was truly one of a kind and I´m very grateful and proud to say I´ve known him for the forty years I was a member of Singac Fire Co 3. Rest in Peace...

I am a longtime longevity fan and am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Dransfield. He lived a great life, accomplishing so much in his 110 years. Although I never knew him, I admired him, as did all the other members of the 110 Club, a forum dedicated to discussing the oldest people in the world. Not only did we admire Vincent as the oldest man in the US, but also as the great man he was (and how lucid he was at 110 too). Rest in peace, Mr. Dransfield. You will be missed.

What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. His shining personality will live on in our hearts. I feel so lucky that Vincent was part of our family. May he rest in peace. With loving memories, Barbara, Chris, Denise & Steven Murray
