Fallen Soldiers are never forgotten. R.I.P

To the family of Staff Sgt Vincent E. Summers,
My name is Anthony Love, but to Vincent Summers I was known as Specialist Love. I deployed to Iraq with Staff Sgt Summers in 2005. Twelve years have passed and I still think about him. I am deeply saddened for your loss, and sorry that it took me so long to write this letter. The first time I actually talked to Summers was on rear detachment. He told me that this was going to be his last deployment, because he was going to Drill Sergeant...

Never forgotten, Summer was a soldier that I looked up to, and admired for his courage.

RIP Vincent. I still think about you after all these years. You were one of the best friends I ever had. I'll never forget you.

Rip my brother lost but never forgotten. Happy belated birthday also celebrated with you in mind.
