I don't know if it was an act, but it was highly entertaining to see him instantly transform from self-confident, independent master to a docile, submissive husband when Betty called. Gebhart lettered about 90% of the local race cars back in the day.I use to watch him paint at his shop on Van Buren St.He loved chewing on that cigar.RIP
