Vincent J. Harmon

Vinnie helped my dad, Bernard F. Shmanske, get me my first real set of golf clubs as a college graduation present which I used for over 40 years. Peggy, my first cousin, taught me the moves on a chessboard at one of the family's combo New Years Day and birthday party for Peg's dad probably around 1962!

I just found about Vinny passing. I was a member at Roselle for the last dozen years. Vinny was class, patience, always friendly, always helpful.. He was the best part of the club. I have some photos of him that I took it you would like them.

To the family of Vince Harmon. Vinnie was my golf pro at Roselle for 23 years, he taught me as a complete beginner. He was always happy and pleasant to everyone. I knew he was a dedicated Catholic who because of his work couldn´t attend mass on sundays and went every Monday. He was a real gentleman and we will all miss him. May he rest in peace.
