I am just so sorry to hear of Vinny's passing. Our family was so much a part of yours growing up, and we all adored your family's warmth and spirit. The memories are so fond and full of joy. I wish you all peace.

i have many memories of going to your house for xmas and your dad laughing at Laurie's list of gifts that she wanted from
santa that was about a mile long.
your parents were so joyous and always laughing.

There is no doubt that you could just drop into the La Sala house for good times, good food, good fellowship, good laughs. Carol and Vinny were unbelievable mentors to many. The four daughters are lovely.

I am proud to have been one of Vinny's friends. He was a great source of help and support during my teaching career at BOCES, and I enjoyed many a wonderful meal at the LaSala's dinner table. I always felt "at home" when I was there. Vinny and Carol are sorely missed by all who knew them, and their legacy lives on with their amazing children.

Vinny, you and Carol were so special to me when I started my teaching career in Herricks, I became a part of your family, and loved your little girls...God is so happy to have you now, you and Carol will be having a big Italian feast, and there will be so many sitting at the table, singing, laughing, and eating the best meal ever. God Bless your girls and their families...they were soooo lucky to be yours, and their hearts are missing a big lovable man....love you all...Shea Lauria and Big...
