Vincent J. MARELICH Sr.

Vince's classroom was across the hall from mine. We spent a lot of time chatting in the hall. I enjoyed him then and enjoyed his visit to my school with Don Day and Jack Dutton a few years back. I learned of Vince's death yeaterday so missed the funeral. Best wishes and blessings to his family. He was a very good and good hearted gentleman.

I was on the staff at Encina from '66 - '74 and remember Vince as one of the nicest and kindest persons - one who was always positive and fun to know and work with. John Knurr

I was one of Mr. Marelich's students and was his student assistant during my senior year at Encina High School. I enjoyed his sense of humor and how kind he was. I hope he enjoyed teaching us as much as we enjoyed having him as our teacher.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Vince Marelich was my favorite teacher at Encina High School. Because of him, I still enjoy U.S. History and fondly remember his class in 1974. My condolances to all his family at this time.
