Worked with Vinny at the Westport Grand Union. Always ready with a story or joke, Vinny always seemed happy. He loved his family more than anything. I will cherish his memory.

I had the great pleasure (and honor) of working with Vinny. He was a wonderful man, full of humor and always had a way of making me smile. He'd told me his story of the recording of "In The Still of the Nite" with the Five Satins (only 4 of them were there!), in such a way that I, as a fan of the recording process itself, as opposed to singing/songwriting, found amazing! I had Vinny Mazzetta on my doowop radio show at the University of New Haven some years ago. He told stories about the bands he played with and his part in one of the greatest oldies of all time "In The Still Of The Night" by the Five Satins. He recalled good memories as he played saxophone for the Five Satins on "In The Still of The Night" He was very enthusiastic about his music and an all around good guy! Rest In Peace Vinny!

Vinnie will...
