my fondest memories of papa is when i visited jersey and he would tell me all sorts of stories abou life in the "olden days"

What I remember best about Papa, was when he spent time in Winnipeg in the mid 80's when I was a little boy, I couldn't been more than 9 or 10 years old. It was something that we did regularly while he was there. He really enjoyed walking and he would take me down to the Red River where he would sing to me and play the guitar, I would try to attempt to skip rocks, which I was not the best at at that age.
