Not sure what to say?

Vince and i served in the US Army for approximately 18 months. During this time we became good and close friends. We were able to visit many areas. He was instrumental in planning many weekend visits for me and other friends. Much later i and my wife Olga were able to visit him and his family. A very special time. Rest in peace my old friend. I know the lord has a special place for you. Gods blessings Gustavo and Olga jGuerra

Om mani padme hum, Vinny. I was so glad we were able to reconnect, after a 33 year hiatus, via email a few years ago. We shared a lot of similar interests. It was always a pleasure talking to you about various New York Times articles, "Jeopardy", classical music, art, history, museums, and stained glass. See you soon my friend, see you soon.

Vinny was always so sincerely thoughtful about everything and always so kind to everyone. He was one in a million. He had a love of history and immersed himself in it. A very smart man and would do the most for people he loved. A man of service and acts of kindness. The love between him and his wife is one that is rare and cherished. Sending condolences to his family that he loved so much. He will be missed

With sincere sympathy to Nola and the entire Romano Family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Romano was always very kind to me and I have a lot of good memories of dinner at the Romano house and Mr. Romano at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Thinking of all of you at this sad time.

I´ll miss Mr. Romano dearly. His helpful insights, calm presence and kindness were always a comfort. He was my family´s mailman at Galbo Fence, and I´m so grateful for his daughter Stasia, my amazing best friend. During my questioning college years, Mr. Romano gently challenged my thinking and taught me to appreciate the broader spiritual perspective. Thank you.

What to say about Vinny? He was a rock. I had the pleasure of working with him at the North Bergen Post Office. At that office we went through a whole gauntlet of emotions for various reasons, but overall, we had fun! Vinny kept us grounded. He could laugh with the best of us and was amazed at the things we got up to. His ship always stayed on course through thick and thin. I hope I have the honor to run into him again at the end of my day. Joe Mazzone
