Dear Helena,

We were so sorry to have heard about the passing of your father last month. As you know Helena, both our fathers had a long history together while growing up next door to each other on Tilden St. in Flint during the 1920's and 1930's. The 1940's brought war and your father was off to the Pacific with the Marines, while my father was off to Italy with the Army.

I do recall that your father was always so jovial and nice to me whenever I saw him. It was always a...

Helena, You know, as we all do, your Dad was one of a kind. My former post never showed on here and I'm trying again. Anyone who knew him loved him and I know he will always be in your heart. So sorry to hear of Vince's passing.. He was such a wonderful friendly, and caring man. I will never forget his happy face popping into NW bowl just to visit with all is friends. He always offered me kind words and good advise. I hope to see him again some day. Helena, you were so lucky to have such a wonderful Father.
