Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to the Yokabaskas family for your loss. I met him just a few times but remember the love in his eyes for all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He was truely one of a kind and will hold a special place in my heart. I loved his sense of humor and the way he supported his children through it all.

Fond memories of tennis with Yogi. R.I.P.

Vinny- My heartfelt condolences on your loss

I am very sad to hear of "Vinnie's" passing. My heartfelt sorrows go out to his entire family during these difficult times.

I remember fondly attending the UConn games with "Yogi" and my father. They were some of my favorite memories.

The Great One will always be with us whenever the basketball goes in the air at UConn....though I never saw him play, his exploits are well known and even more well documented. Beyond the headlines was a man that was loved, respected and a friend to thousands. Vinny, we will miss you but your spirit lives on in all you touched. My sincere condolences to the entire Yokabaskas family at this difficult time. May he forever rest in the peace of The Lord. .... Paul Pendergast

He built our family vacation home on "Herring Pond" which we as kids loved swimming there after a day a Coust Gaurd Beach in Easthem, MA. He taught us to be strong and introduced us to down hill skiing and surfing which my bothers fell in love with and have go on to surf all over the world. My dad was tough on all his children, but always...

I will miss everything about him! He was the greatest guy! His work ethic was unfathomable! Never forget how fast he was on his feet. His "field expediency" was of legendary proportions. He taught me everything I know.
Will miss him very much!
