Vincenza Lomonaco Obituary
Visalia - Vinnie was unexpectedly called to heaven on July 2nd. She was born in Sicily Aug 4th, 1930. After getting married, she moved with her husband to Massachusetts when she was 20 years old, got her citizenship, and years later moved to Visalia. She lived a very full life as a seamstress and a mother, grandmother, and Great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, cooking for them and playing cards. She spent a lot of time over the years with her friends, who were extended family, at the Sons of Italy Hall and she danced whenever and wherever she could. She loved to travel and was blessed to see so many places. She will deeply be missed - her laugh, her smile, her funny faces, and that accent will never be forgotten and will forever live on in all our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lomonaco and son Joseph Lomonaco, as well as her parents and siblings.
She is survived by her daughters Estelle Liotine and Lisa Silva, granddaughters Maria Fitzgerald (Shane Fitzgerald), Michelle Liotine, and Stephanie Silva, and great-grandchildren Aidan and Liam Fitzgerald. She is also survived by sisters and a brother in France and Sicily.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5-8 with Rosary at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church 608 N. Church St., Visalia on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 9am, followed by Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery District.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her❣. I'm proud to call her daughter Lisa family. If not for Vinnie, I would've had no veil on my wedding day, she literally made it on my head half an hour before I walked down the isle. She'll always have A special place in my heart.
