To Vinko's family,
What a treasure he was to me. To meet him a few years ago, was a joy. His kindness and helpful ways, I will always cherish and so often I tell others my story of this wonderful man, who even at the age of 101, his willingness to help,a stranger at the time,with my Slovenian project is nothing short of amazing. His first words to me as I told him who I was, about my project, he said, and,"How can I help you?"...and he did. Although we shared just such a short time on...

I am sorry for your loss. Vinko and Maria were the kindest of all human beings and I was lucky to have known them. You are in my thoughts at this difficult time.
