Viola and Percy were such wonderful neighbors and friends. I think of them often and miss them.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Happy New Year!!! I pray that you are richly blessed in 2018!
Family & Friends,
Well, 2017 was a great year! It ended with a surprising and unexpected twist.
It literally took us by surprise but, God was not surprised at all.
On December 1, 2017, I was blessed to retire from teaching after 28 years in
the Fayette County Public School System.
I was so looking forward to spending more quality time with my Momma and my family.
Well, I learned quickly...

I have been out of town the past week and just read about Vi's passing. It saddens me greatly. We worked together as team members years ago and it was so easy to work with her and talk to her. My condolences to the family. I'm sorry I missed the visitation. My thoughts are with you.

My classmate from George Washington Carver and Paul Laurence Dunbar Schools. Precious and fond memories of our school years.

My sympathy and prayers for Viola's family. Viola was a wonderful, kind, compassionate person. Whenever we would run into each other we would spend a few minutes "catching up". Viola was a delightful person and a role model to all nurses.

Viola and I went to nursing school together and later when she was supervisor of the night shift, I was fortunate to work with her. We had a great many laughs together and both enjoyed our time together. She will be missed by nursing classmates, as well as her family and friends. She was a very hard worker and this is evident in her accomplishments.
