MY “PEARLS” IN LIFE

By Jaime Dues Raffaell

It’s unfortunate that I cannot be with all of you today to pay tribute to my Grandmother Pearl. I hope these words are a comfort for you to remember her as I will.

Grandma Dues was always a fascination to me. I guess it’s because she was so little and so quiet, yet she was the matriarch of such a large family. In 1976, when I was 8 my family moved to Colorado. Before we left, Grandma took all four of us...

Mrs. Dews was like a grandmother to me growing up. I will always have fond memories of her and will love her always. It was such a pleasure to know her and to have her share in my life as I was growing up.

Mrs. Dues was a very caring, giving and loving lady that never missed an opportunity to share a smile. Undoubtedly she is spending her time hugging her new friends and family in her new home. Our prayers our with her family.

I will never forget just how sweet and gentle Mrs. Dues was. We are praying that the family will feel God's peace and comfort during this sad time.

We all loved Aunt Pearl. She always had a hug and a smile for every one. She was one of the Stars at our reunions, they won't be the same without her. We will miss her but we can have a reunion with her again some day if we follow her kind and gentle ways. My prayers are with her wonderful family.
