Hi Mary Ellen,Cathy,Genmarie and Families! We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother! It has been many years since we have seen her but we have many great memories from down on the farm! She will be greatly missed! Your family is in our prayers!God bless all of you! The Hawkins Family

From Mary-Ellen. Thank you for sharing your memories; they sparked joy in me. I'd love to hear more of your stories and maybe share a few of my own. Mom's creativity and energy were boundless. She welcomed my friends and found ways to make our times together fun. She could sew up a storm, hang wallpaper perfectly, became a Girl Scout Leader (whom the girls loved) just so I could be a Girl Scout, and walked my legs off from the time I could walk! I never could keep up with her. She was one...

Many thanks to every person who wrote in Mom's Guestbook. Each of you has lifted the spirits of our families. To those of you who we have not been in contact with recently (Ruth M and Bob C-- your thoughts warmed my heart).

Mary Ellen, Cathy and Genmarie - I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing (one day after our sister, Mary passed away)-I read her obituary here, after reading Mary's! The photo you selected captures exactly how I remember your mom - smiling and vivacious. She was always so patient when we neighborhood kids would invade your house to play board games, school, and whatever else our imaginations conjured up. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Peace. Ruth...

Mary-Ellen and Family, Seeing your mother's notice in the paper and her picture with that wonderful smile brought back memories of her as our Girl Scout leader; and the farm I went to with you and your family when we were all in grade school and I lived on Laurel Ave. You had a very nice Mom who always made me feel welcome. My sincerest sympathy.

So very sorry to hear of your mom! She was a friend to my mom, Elva Dawson. She and Elva and Joann Walz got together often, and had many good times. I met you all as children, getting together with our parents. Mom died March of 2019. They're all reunited now. Again, my condolences
