Viola T. MacFarlane

My dear co-worker, Viola came up in my email today. I still have such fond memories of her and was so sorry when she left work and then left us permanently on earth. <3 <3 <3

Was thinking of my old friend today. I'm from Farmingdale, but never knew Viola when she lived here. Don't know if she still lived here when i moved here in 1959. I don't remember all the conversations that I had with her regarding Farmingdale, or her husband and children, or her retirement village, or the IRS(from where I just retired after 33 1/2 years,) - but I do remember that I loved all the conversations that I had with Viola. She was a smart and interesting woman and a good friend and...

Viola was a dear friend and coworker. We all loved her at work. I worked with her from 1987 till she left the IRS and kept in touch with her after she moved to Florida. She loved her family and talked about them all the time, her children and grandchildren, and Farmingdale relatives (I'm also from Farmingdale - but didn't know Viola from there) - and especially Karen who she lived with in Florida. I miss Viola, and my thougths go out to the family.

Happy 73rd Birthday Mom,

It's your first birthday in heaven Mom. I miss you so much and wish you were here to celebrate it with us. There is such a pain in my heart without you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.
