Viola D. (Wilson) Zearing, age 84, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away at 4:10 AM on Sunday, January 30, 2005, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
Born Jan. 21, 1921, in Kent, Indiana, she was the daughter of Frank & Addie Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of the Jefferson County community. She was employed for 30 years at Hanover College in the Housekeeping Dept. and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church
SURVIVORS
Mrs. Zearing will be missed by her children, Donald Zearing, of Lexington; Sandra Zearing, of Madison; Karen Benham & her husband, Tony, of Madison; Tom Zearing & his wife, Tammy, of Madison; Ronald Zearing & his wife, Peggy, of Lexington; one brother, Charles T. Wilson, of Hanover; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Mrs. Zearing will be remembered in a funeral ceremony conducted by Pastor Jeff Jones at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 221 Kuntz Road, Hanover. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery in Saluda Township.
VISITATION
Family & friends may gather for visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Feb. 1, and 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the church.
MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Cards are available at the funeral home and the church.
