Not sure what to say?

Vi's husband, John Thomas Adams was my Great Uncle. I never met Aunt Vi though I've heard plenty of family recounts.

To her family, my sympathies. I'm looking for any Adams family documents(such as birth, death, or marriage, certificates, etc.) on John and his parents Joseph and Veda Adams. Alot of our family heritage was passed on to John and later to Vi. Hoping to reconnect.

Dear Sue and David,

My father was Leonard, one of your mother's brothers. I am sorry for your loss. In reading the other entries, I learned about your mother and wish time and distance had not kept me from knowing her and you better.
May God bring you comfort and your good memories of life with her enrich all your other relationships.

I'm sorry to hear of Aunt Violet's passing. My condolences to the rest of the family. May God comfort you at this time of sorrow.

We are sorry to hear of your loss. May God comfort and strengthen you and your family thorough this unhappy time.(Psalms 46:1)

I was looking up my mothers obituary and was saddened to see your mothers. I use to work with Vi at the Treasure's Office back in 1974. She was so full of life and laughter. I had alot of fun working with her and Arlene. Everyday was a different funny story, they held my first baby shower for me, they were wonderful women to work with and I have often thought of both for years. God Bless your mother and may you find peace in her memories.

Since I can remember, Vi was a part of my family. My mom and her were best friends. Every Christmas Eve, we knew that "Aunt" Vi would be with us (and of course, everyone received a box of cookies.) Every other holiday she spent with my mom celebrating at my sister's home. Vi loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sue, she couldn't ask for a better daughter. You always made sure she had the best of care, even from miles away. My mom always shared your phone calls to...

Dear David and Ellen. Our thoughts are with you on the loss of your mother. May she find eternal peace.

Dear Sue: I have been thinking of you ever since I heard this news yesterday. I am so glad my path crossed with your mom's some 25 years ago as the Sanders' family "Auntie Vi". Our visits (whether in Ohio or California)were always memorable - particularly the gambling trips to Reno or an Indian casino. She was the truest friend anyone could hope to have and Arline was very lucky to have known her. Now the angels will get to play cards or gamble with her - or perhaps learn how to cook...

The memories of my childhood almost always included Vi. She was like a second mother to me. Between the tears and sadness that we are feeling now, the good memories that we have will make us smile and laugh even more. Vi was loved by so many and will never be forgotten. To Sue and David, thank you for letting me share your mom over the years. She was proud of you both and she also loved you and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than words can say. Goodbye, Vi. Play some cards up...
