Not sure what to say?

Sadly, I just found out today about Violet's death. She was a dear classmate of mine at SHS, and, at one time lived across the "marsh" from me in Battery Park. We would ride the school bus to the edge of the marsh and I'd get off to walk a few steps to my house. Violet would head off across the marsh (there was a path there:), carrying a load of books and homework. She is missed. Condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Violet very well. She was my typing teacher at SHS in 1966/67. I was Lynda Darden at the time but I have been married to Glen Jordan for 29 years. A few years ago I filled in for Doris Crocker at her beauty salon and Violet was one of my clients. I will always remember her. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I was saddened to read of Violet's passing. She was a sweet lady. She was always so friendly and kind to me when I was teaching at SHS. My deepest sympathy.
