Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the Carlsons on the loss of these wonderful parents who were larger than life. It seems just yesterday that Vie, and my father, musician Val Eddy (DeCastris) were together. And we were singing at Anderson Gardens....Bun is my buddy and I just want to wish you all peace at this sad time, particularly at the holidays when Ed is now gone too. He and Vie raised such a great family and gave so much to our community as did their children. What a legacy they all leave...

Ed and Family, our prayers and sympathies are with you during this difficult time. I still remember when Floyd, my Brother Jose and I would visit, we always felt like family and always felt welcome by Ms Vie. She was such a kind and wonderful person. Thanks for all you and your family did for us. Best wishes to you and the family.

So very sorry to hear about Vie's passing. What a terrific woman. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Maureen Rieff, Rockford

Vie was always passionate in her support of her family and her faith. She was wonderful in sharing her talents; what a great reflection of God's goodness to those who were blessed to know her and share an opportunity to serve with her. Heaven got a servant indeed with her arrival. to all the family my sympathy - Pat Harris Largent

Jan and family, I will never forget the wonderful memories I have of your mom. Wonderful times at your home during our high school years, and playing tennis with her years later. She will be truly missed.

She was so special! I enjoyed several conversations we had...also remembering the fun of being in that "House of Lindberg" TV commercial. Speak often of those good memories. Best Wishes to your family. E.J. Pagel

Dear Ed and Family, I rejoice with you in our knowledge that life is eternal through the Atoning Sacrifice of our Precious Savior and Dear Redeemer. My beloved sweetheart, Beverly Landgren Waite, and Vie were such good friends and fellow pianists. I send you and your family my love, sympathy and
blessings that we all may put Christ first in our lives and look forward of taking our loved ones in our arms once again is the prayer of your Mormon friend.

Vie is someone I'll never forget. She loved Jesus and loved the life He gave her. She brought fun to every gathering. Please know that Jerry and I are praying for the family.
