Not sure what to say?

What I wouldn't give to sit on your lap right now.

I thought a felt a shift in the world's 'nice' level in May. You put the 'great' in Great Aunt. When Sweetest Day was invented, they chose your birthday. Your lap was always the safest place in the world. I still smile every time I see the Going Fishing game. Give Mom and everybody a hug from me - keep lots for yourself - and tell Uncle Bob there better be some peanut brittle waiting for me when we meet again! I love you.

I am so glad that Annette and I got to visit with Violet last summer. I was worried that she wouldn't remember us. I think we spent about an hour with her but she started to get tired so we left. She was always a happy person and I remember visiting all of you when we were small. We always had such a good time at your house. My love goes out to all of you.

Dear Jean, Jim & Sharon, Dewey & Nancy, David and Families,

So sorry Violet has passed physically from your lives; however, she will
live forever in our hearts and memories. She was a grand, loving, warm woman and a "hoot" to be around. May you find comfort and healing in
your next few days together, reminiscing of her kindnesses and laughing
in your recollections of her roll in the Howie family.

Gramma Vi, we'll miss you so. You've always been the center of our family, with more goodness and love than any 10 people. Ever an earthbound angel; now you've got your wings. Farewell until we meet again!
