LOVE to all the family and friends of my beloved friend, mentor and chosen sister, Violet. I think of you often and believe I will see you again.

When I think of Violet, I think of velvet: soft, deep comforting, and strong. She was one of the most powerful therapists and teachers of gestalt child therapy, and her great power emerged in her gentleness and her exquisite contactfulness with her child clients. Her gentle manner combined with her therapeutic skills with children was diametrically opposite of Fritz Perls', or even Lore Perls' yet the power of her gestalt approach in psychotherapy was at least equally magnificent.
