Quinn, Violet Anne (Milbert) age 97, lifelong resident of Hopkins, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 5, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Colleen Ruhland; son-in-law, Don McGannon; sisters, Verna Milbert, Bernice Lent; brothers, John and Len Milbert. Survived by children, Mary Ellen McGannon, John (Mary), Catherine (Jim) O'Neill, Michael (Eleanor), Patrick (Jane), Verna (Steve) McCabe, Susan (Jerry) Techam, Barbara (Tom) Rosc, Bob (Bonnie), Theresa (William) Hart, Thomas Jr. "Louie", Deborah (Dave) Murphy, Sharon (Martin) Farrell, James (Robin); son-in-law, Darrell Ruhland; 43 grandchildren, 78 great- grandchildren; sister-in-law, Florence Quinn; numerous relatives & friends. Violet was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, bingo, cards and fishing. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Church and sang in the choir. Violet was loved by many and will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank Violet's special caregivers Vickie Lord and Natalie Bolling. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Interment St. Margaret's Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, Nov. 9 with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel, St. Joseph Campus, 1310 Mainstreet, Hopkins.
