WALTERS, Violet May "Vi" Flint Age 84, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence. Visitation only 5-8pm Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Cremation will take place following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or the National Association of the Deaf. Violet was born in Flint on December 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Harry and Sadie Neely and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. She was active in the Burton Senior Center and was a participant of Genesys PACE. Vi loved her family and playing bingo. Surviving are children, Judy (Richard) Czekai, Loren (Kris) Sutherland, Larry (Beth) Sutherland, Michael (Christie) Sutherland, Deborah (Daniel) Ng, Sheena (Douglas) Jordan, Carla McFall, Kim (Joseph) Halbeck, Donald Walters Jr., and James Walters; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vi you are still thought of no matter how long its been. You were always loved by so many people that you shared your caring with at Burton Place. I think about you more now I have joined Pace where you were going at too. Kim I thank you for letting me know how Mom liked it there I am enjoying being a part of it now too. But every day I go I think of Vi.

We have very fond memories of Vi. She was an awesome neighbor, daughter, wife, mother & friend! Judy was my best friend growing up on Chevrolet Ave. Prayers & love for her family. Karen (Gellatly) Plamondon & Edith Gellatly.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Vi's passing! So many good memories of when we were little and even our teenage years! You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Love Linda, Candee & families.

Thank You Vi for our time together, we are truely blessed to have had you as part of our PACE family. To Vi's family love and prayers to you all during this time. May you all be cherishing wonderful memories of her as she is smiling down on you all!
