I enjoyed knowing George and Vi both. Vi was such a trooper in her years after George died - a strong and wise woman. Her sense of humor never left her. I will miss her.

Although I only knew Vi through a business acquaintance, I found her to be very sensible, ethical and straightforward. She had a lively sense of humor and I enjoyed my visits with her over the years. She will be missed.

Grandma Vi,
While our time is short here, your legacy will live forever. The people you have touched, taught and inspired has been and will be priceless. That was the foundation of which yours was built. You and George led be example and you will be sorely missed. I will quietly route for the Braves for you also. Let's just keep that between you and I.

Mrs. Whitehead was my next-door neighbor for over fifteen years, and I miss her every day. She was always happy to see me or to join me for a pretty sunset. She loved her baseball. And she loved her George. Things aren't the same without them.

Violet was a great next door neighbor and I enjoyed watching baseball games with her and our visits very much. She and George were special friends. I miss them both.

Dear Violet: Thank You for the good advice you gave to "that weird little guy" at the last stool on the east counter - - 5th x Robinson. Now that I'm 55+ I'm better understanding your wisdom and wit. You gave me GOOD advice in 1975 - - that I ignored - - and I remember that DAILY.
I hope there is Nieman/Marcus AND Nordstrom's in Heaven where you can shop for free. You deserve it !
