Not sure what to say?

Virdyn was a mentor to me at NALU. He was a great friend to many and admired by all. The late Senator John Heinz called Virdyn when the Senators father died and they spoke a long time. Once when Virdyn and I visited Senator Heinzs office in Washington the Senator spoke with Virdyn for more than an hour as old friends and it was obvious the great regard in which the Senator held Virdyn. Virdyn called me for many years to chat long after I had left NALU. R.I.P. my dear friend.

To Virdy's children and his extended family, I sincerely extend my deepest condolences. I had the great privilege of working with Virdon at State Mutual of America from Sept 1974 until Ileft for another company in August 1981. It was a privilege to work with and know Virdy, but most of all it was my honor and pleasure to call him a friend. He was a great guy, that was a true pleasure to be around and to learn from. The basics of the business was shared by many, including Virdy, but He...

Mr. VC's family,
I was a receptionist oh so many years ago at SMA & was so privileged to meet this joyful, classy man. If he went out to lunch or an appointment he always brought me back a little treat like a heath bar or an almond joy. He was a generous, glorious soul. I never ever remember him without a jovial wink and smile on his face. I I have not seen him in many years but remember him so fondly. I envsion he is having a discussion with Mr. Haldeman on how to solve something. I...
