I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember at times your dad would pretend to be so serious and when he had us totally scared he would get the biggest smile on his face and his eyes would sparkle and we would start laughing. I was always scared of Virgil when I was a kid, not sure why, but the older I got, the better I got to know him, and under a sometimes gruff exterior, he was one helluva good guy.
As a child I lived across the street from him, grew up with Rick and Karla.
As a young adult I lived one more house down the street, but Virgil and Pat were always first on my invite list when I had one of my wild parties, that way I felt they couldn't get mad at me for being loud too late, they never...

I remember when I was little every time we would come to their house Virgil would chase me around until he caught me and I always got a whisker rub! Both my parents had utmost respect for Virgil and Pat. Our thoughts are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Felton Family. I lived right down the street from the Feltons growing up in Olympia.
