Virgil Gardner

Virgil Gardner, age 61, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his home. He was born June 19, 1953 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late David Gardner and the late Eula White Gardner. He was a truck driver by profession for 38 years and was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by: Wife: Kathy Lance Gardner of the home Sons: David Gardner of Waldron, Arkansas J.V. Columbus and wife Mary Beth of Mena, Arkansas Sisters: Sheila Godfrey of Waldron, Arkansas Vivian Tuff and husband Eugene of Rye Hill, Arkansas Beverly Asbury and husband George of Booneville, Arkansas Granddaughter: Jayclyn Gardner Numerous nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Eula Gardner, and 2 sisters, Patricia Sheek and Helda Elaine Graham, and a brother, David Gardner. Mr. Gardner was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
