Not sure what to say?

I was sad to hear of the passing of CAPT Virgil Grace. I had the pleasure of working with Virgil both in the State of Alabama and as a Specialist in the Denver Region. He was exceeding thorough and fair in all his desicions. He also instructed us how to sample milk correctly. Our sympathy goes to the family in his passing. He was a true Gentleman.

Maxine, I thank God that he put us next to each other on the flight from Savannah to Cincinnati. It was such a blessing to hear about the life you and Virgil had together. He is with our Lord and I look forward to meeting him in Heaven. I will be praying for you. Your brother in Christ.

I worked with Virgil when I was a state inspector in Texas and later in the Philly Regional office when I became a USPH/CO. He was a great guy who I admired and ejoyed working with. Virgil and I played lots of bridge when ever we could find someone to take us on. Please extend my condolances to his family.

I knew Virgil while working with the Ill.Dept.of Health. You have my sympathy.

When I worked for the Mississippi State Health Department, as a State Rating Officer, to many years ago to admit, Virgil taught me how to collect a milk sample and why it was important to do it his way. He believed his work was important and ment something. Today, we need his convictions and his ability to help young people. He was a good man, and his life made a difference in my life. May God bless his Family in their time of grief.

I had the honor to work with CAPT Grace during my initial years in the field of Public Health. Virgil was a true professional in the Public Health field. I am proud to say that I knew him and work with him in my public health career in the U.S Public Health Service. He was one of the leading factors for me joining the U.S. Public Health Service. Since he has left FDA, his knowledge has been greatly missed. We all will miss him.

We ar sorry to hear of Virgil's passing. He was a well respected friend and fellow USPHS Officer.
We send our respects and sympathy To his wife and family.

Virgil was a good friend and my mentor when I joined the USPHS milk program in Chicago in 1971. My condolances to his family. I will send his obituary to several of his good friends in the upper midwest.
