I just learned that Professor McKenna had passed away. I very much enjoyed his classes, and he was a great inspiration to me and many other psychology students.

Virgil was one of our favorite people even though we didn't see him often. It was always special when we did run into him, enjoying his sense of humor and interesting thoughts on so many subjects. We are sad to realize we will not see him again, but will always remember him.
Our condolences to all of the McKenna family.
