Merry Christmas Grandpa -Daniel

thinking of you. Even though we only had a handful of conversations your presence was so great and will always be remembered. Thank you for all the history lessons and wonderful story times. -great-granddaughter

Grandpa Virgil, I love re-reading about your scholarly achievements, the impact you´ve left on this state, and the serving of your country. I was younger when you passed but I´ve heard great stories and legacies from my dad, cousin Pat, and numerous folks around the county since a young age. I graduated a 3rd generation redhawk (or redskin) and I hope I can be just like you when I´m older in my own way. Love Your Grandson Daniel <3

Mr. O'Sullivan, The firsts are the hardest of all! Boy WHAT A LEGACY you left behind! Their love shines through! And your family has made it through all the firsts. You are missed! P.S.If you happen to run into my Mom, please give her a hug for me.

Dad. Your rose for mom is blooming again. We got the rice off and are working hard to take care of everything.Everytime I see a white pick up, I think it's you out there:)
I wish you were here to see the ducks and geese....,Love, Dru

Hi Dad, Miss you so much. We built a owl box and placed in the old oak tree in the back of the house. We are waiting for you to come stay in the box so we can hear you out there talking. You wise old owl. Everyone misses you Dad. Greg and I were remembering the good times we had growing up. Tahoe vacation, Fort Bragg just being together as a family. I'm remembering taking you shopping for Mom. I know how you loved Xmas and how much you loved Mom. We are all good but missing the hell...

I Love and Miss you Virg. We had a wonderful 62 years. Can you see your Christmas Tree, we know how you loved Christmas. Your children miss you as I do and I am looking forward to seeing you again.
Love,

Hey Dad it is the Christmas Season and you are on our minds more then ever. We love and miss you so. Merry Christmas. Love You always and forever

My condolences to Virgil's family and friends. I did not have the privilege of knowing him. But if his children are any indication of the man he was, he probably was a wonderful, loving father and husband. A giver to his community and a great human being.
